Furikake is a mixture of seaweed and sesame, roasted and salted and reduced to powder. It was invented during World War II to add to the rice bowl of Japanese sailors. Very popular in Japan, there are lots of different flavors. This organic furikake is produced with organic sesame roasted in soy sauce by the producer as well as red shiso from Wakayama and sea lettuce for the iodized side. Crunchy and very round in the mouth, this addictive furikake is a condiment that puts the accent on your dishes.
Crunchy, salty, with a good taste of shiso and a nice length in the mouth.
This tasty organic shiso furikake can of course be sprinkled on rice but also served with tofu, grilled fish, meat, yakisoba and other pasta dishes or even pizza!
Ingredients: Organic sesame (71.8%), salt (13%), organic shiso (10%), organic soy sauce (3.2%), aosa seaweed (2 %).
